Gilles Dierickx- University of Washington
Gilles was a member of Rising Stars in 2009-2010 as a 11th and 12th grader. Gilles was an inside force offensively and defensively standing 7 feet tall. Gilles helped Rising Stars place high in multiple AAU tournaments and ARC Championships.
At Chaminade High School, Gilles averaged 13.2 Points 9.2 Rebounds, and 3.2 Blocks per game. He was a highly recruited player his senior year and ended up getting a full ride scholarship to FIU with then coach Isaiah Thomas.
This year, Gilles transferred to the prestigious University of Washington where he will be playing center in the Pac-12 against top competition in the nation in one of the most difficult and highly talked about conferences in the NCAA.
Notable Alumni who played at the University of Washington include Spencer Haws, Nate Robinson, Brandon Roy, Detlef Schrempf, and Quincy Pondexter.

JT Nemit- Tabor University
JT was a member of Rising Stars from 2006-2011. He was a member for 6 years playing with us since the 7th grade all the way until he graduated High School. JT was a intelligent and quick point guard with great hands who could light up the three ball to extend the floor for us. JT won numerous for Rising Stars and AAU Titles with us.
JT played high school ball at EL Camino Real High School where he was the standout varsity point guard. He was a 2009-2010 all West Valley League player. JT led El Camino to their first ever championship appearance in 2010, and first ever state playoff appearance in 2010 alongside his teammate and other former Rising Stars player Alex Kamberian. JT averaged 8.9 points per game as a senior in high school.
JT currently plays for Tabor University in Hillsboro, Kansas. JT this year was 6th in assists per game in the KCAC conference and 4th in Assist/TO Ratio. He is going into his junior year under Coach Micah Ratzlaff as one of the leaders on the team.

Jamal McClerkin - Metropolitan State University
*Rising Stars Coach and current professional basketball player*
Jamal, whom was a former Rising Stars member and Chaminade Basketball player, just finished up his college basketball career at Metropolitan State University in Colorado.
Jamal came back to Los Angeles to help coach our Rising Stars program in the summer of 2014.
Recently, Jamal McClerkin committed to a professional basketball organization over seas! Jamal will play for Villach Raiders in Austria. We are very proud of his accomplishments and know that he will be very successful in Europe.
Jamal was a huge help to the Rising Stars program in the summer of 2014, teaching our players offensive and defensive concepts.
We wish the best of luck to him!

Spencer Levy - Occidental College
Spencer was a member of Rising Stars from 2007-2010. He was a three year Rising Stars player since the 7th grade up until his high school years. Spencer was a intelligent point guard with great leadership skills along with his excellent offensive awareness. Spencer was on our elite Rising Stars teams winning numerous for Rising Stars championships in the competitive ARC leagues.
Spencer played at Calabasas High School during his high school days where he led the team to their first ever CIF title in school history with 13 points and 5 rebounds his senior year. Spencer's offensive skills shined throughout his four year high school career.
Spencer played his JC Ball out of high school at Moorpark College. He currently plays at Occidental College under coach Newhall which competes in the SCIAC conference and occasionally plays against strong NCAA Division I Schools.

Jack Williams - Long Beach State
Jack started Rising Stars as a 7th grader and his hard work, intensity, and commitment resulted in a division one scholarship to a highly respected basketball program. Jack won numerous championships within the Rising Stars program. He was one of our most committed players always attending practice and working hard. His great knack for the ball and ability to finish strong in the paint really made a big contribution to our program.
Jack went on to Chaminade High School where he was a 4 year varsity basketball player and enters his senior year this year under coach Todd Wolfson, whom is also the head coach and co-founder of Rising Stars Basketball. The strong Power Forward is coming into his senior season after averaging 16.4 Points Per Game, 16.4 Rebounds Per Game, and led the team with a 56% field goal percentage his junior year. Jack is looking to win a CIF and State title his final year at Chaminade. Moving forward, Jack will graduate as the class of 2014 at Chaminade High School and the 6-8/195 pound, soon to be freshman, will be playing under coach Dan Monson in the Big West Conference.

Coach Kamberian is our latest addition to the Rising Stars family as a coach! Coach Kamberian was formally a Rising Stars player.
Alex started with Rising Stars when it first began in 2006 as a 13 year old (Picture on the right was him playing in our first Rising Stars game ever) and played with us till he was 18 in 2011.
Alex played varsity basketball at El Camino Real High School and was one of the leaders on his team as a senior in 2010-2011. Throughout High School, Alex played Rising Stars to tone his skills in the off-season.
He then went on to his coaching career at El Camino Real High School after his playing days where he currently coaches the freshman team. This year, he was on the varsity coaching staff as well that led the program to a City Championship against Westchester High School.
